Ever stab a friend to death because he sold your favorite MMO weapon?  You're not alone.  There's also news about Sony banning 700 EverQuest II accounts, rockin' Matrix Online community news, and two batches of reader-submitted screens, and a new Guild Wars movie.  This column will jump out of your monitor and kick you in the face.

So what if you want to stab multiple people (like the Square-Enix decision makers) over virtual reality issues? Considering the target do you think it would be illegal? Not that I would do such a thing but those ads for 'rugged dependable swords' at the top of the page fired up my imagination.

Bolded only because I can't put that in 100-pt font.  :p  Come on, Square Enix! Sony is smarter that you!

Square Enix?  If anyone need to read that, it's Mythic.  Everyone at the Dark Age of Camelot Roundtable was like "Yeah, well, I got my bot up to level 23..." and "...so I had to go raise myself with my bot" or "you did what?  You couldn't just have your bot do it?"  and crap like that.  Almost everyone has a bot in that game, and Mythic really doesn't care to ban anyone.

Yeah...  so this HNM LS on my server got Fafnir 100% of the time because they botted it 24/7.  So, one of the top English-speaking LSs put up bazaar messages inviting everyone to come watch the fight...  Over one hundred people all wrote in at once, accusing the botters of doing exactly what they were doing: Cheating.  every single member of the botting LS got banned, making Fafnir open to all of the honest HNM LSs.  It's actions like this that are required for change, I suppose.  Seems like an awful lot of work, but it's well worth it to lcea up one of the most heavily hacked, botted, and gil-buying servers in FF XI.

Thanks, Heath.  Your help and guidance will be most beneficial to me when classes end and I suddenly have time to play video games again. :)

Yes, Dracos, and that is the perfect irony of working for a game news site.

[Insert Story of sticking it to the cheaters]

A fine example of KUNG FU JUSTICE!

You know, I don't much care to play The Matrix Online, but I must tip my hat to that game's events team.  I read on Data Node One yesterday some stuff about Morpheus appearing on a street corner and giving a big ol' speech and stuff, similar to what went on at the end of the beta event.  It sounds like there's hardly a dull moment in the story...can anyone confirm this for me?

Also, I think Zhu Caoyuan had it coming when he sold that sword.  Pfft, you don't do that to a brother.  He needed stabbed.

yeah but I don't think you should kill people over games...then again I found out that IGE has an office in Florida which I've thought about vandlizing, stealing all the HDDs in those servers and/or uploading a bad virus to.(Ok I probabaly wouldn't do any of this since I'd go to jail but I have an evil mind....)

That's what one of those screens looks like to me.  Since ROSE is still in beta, it made sense to me.  Didn't you originally call the image something like "shoperror" or something?
