...ok, now that that's out of my system(you did mention a computer named Chii...... :p )....

Here's a question you probably don't get asked much:  How are animals treated over there?  Did you/do you have any pets(if I missed this from a previous column, sorry)?  How's the stray situation?  Are there really random cats sitting on fences that bite your finger when you point at them?

Also, what is Popolocrois about, anyway?

Thanks!  And you know, you ask an interesting question.  So interesting that you'll have to wait a week to find the answer.  I'll stick it in the next column.  

But yeah, my fiancee named her computer Chii.  I was gonna name mine Chiyo, but I'd decided my computer was male.  Funny how that works...  Granted, Chibi is not the most masculine name out there, it works for me.  So yeah, we're both otaku.  It's no wonder we're engaged!  If only all otaku could be even half as lucky as me.

It's actually got an anime now, you can find the first 2 eps (all that's aired so far) fansubbed now. you can get them through bittorrent or probably a fileshare program like kazaa. From what I understood so far the story of the anime is after the games in the timeline (not having played them myself i can't be sure), but you can get an idea of the characters and the general feel of the story.

'pantsu'...oh yea, definitely one of the best anime eps i've ever seen. hilarious, just hilarious. ^_^

and J, you found an otaku girl, huh?...you lucky [insert derogatory or profane remark]  :p [/jealousy]  :(

Yeah, I met my lovely fiancee playing DDR.  So not only is she an anime otaku, she's also a BIT of a gamer.  I'm teaching her to play RPGs and other games like Smash Melee.  Oh, and she's Asian too.
