The cards reveal the path you will follow in this trailer. Of course, the cards always seem to pick the most dismal of futures. It's nothing but burning houses and lost battles in this one.

This looks like a game I must get when it is released.
It looks fabulous, especially since I never got to play the original, but the subtitle just makes me giggle. I mean, I know they couldn't use Wheel of Fortune, but Let Us Cling Together?

This looks great to me too, although I can't say I'm thrilled with some of the slight name changes. I didn't like it in FFT: War of the Lions, and I don't like it here, either. Xytengenia? Vyce? Denam? Whats next, Canoupush? Come on, man.

This looks epic.
Oh, and "Let Us Cling Together" sounds like something you would hear in one of Shakespeare's plays. XD
The original creator was something of a Queen fan. "Ogre Battle", "March of the Black Queen", and "Let Us Cling Together" are all from song titles.
Yeah, Matsuno has proclaimed his love for Queen.

"Let us cling together" is the classic title for this game... I'm glad they are at least keeping that the same. Too bad about the character name changes though.
The Xytegenia thing pisses me off. Zetegenia looks much more natural, and it's been the translation since forever, even in the relatively recent Knight of Lodis. What do they get by changing it?
It looks almost unchanged in gameplay (from the tale-end game shots) aside from the spell effects (which have a FFT-style particle effect upgrade). I wonder if you can rotate the maps now. Have they added weapon-based skills to the game prior to the final dungeon. There were those droppable ones from there, but aside from the favored weapon bonus/animation, weapons only had those endgame ones. I inquire because it looks like the there's a spear skill or something being demonstrated in the video.
I want a deck of those Tarot cards! Or at least an art book with the illustration in it. Love the Ogre series. Will buy.

Let Us Cling Together is hilarious. This should be gorgeous!

"I remember back when FF9 was coming out. People were rejoicing because it was actually a fantasy game and not a sci-fi game like 7 and 8. It's especially hilarious given modern context, with everyone wanking themselves to dehydration at the thought of an FF7 remake." - Masterchief
I managed to scrounge up some of that information you were referencing, crazy stuff! The classes will all level at once, Valkyria style? The character can set action/combat/support skills like in FF tactics? Super-crazy... I can't quite bring myself to order the collector bundle, if only because I can't find it on Playasia...
Not sure if the collector's pack will be available on other sites, at the moment it seems like it's only on SE's e-Store.

If they release this collector's edition on this side of the Pacific, I would definitely snatch it up.

This is yet another one I never got to play. All I can say is yay for portable remakes.
