According to our very own Michael Baker, Ninokuni is super awesome fun times. Too bad it hasn't been announced for North America yet. Instead, here's some footage of the PlayStation 3 game currently in development. It sure is purdy.

*grumbles that he doesn't have a PS3*
It looks very good. The only thing that looks remotely weird is that the expressions of NPCs seem a little stiff.

My goodness, This game is beautiful!
Give me Underboob, or give me death!
"As a gaming enthusiast, people who carry a pro-hacker flag for selfish self-entitled reasons and willfully ignore the damage that rampant piracy does to developers as well as hardware producers don't deserve to enjoy the games and systems that these companies have poured their souls into to produce."

This is like a new standard for cel-shading. It puts Eternal Sonata, Tales of Vesperia, and Valkyria Chronicles to shame, and that's no easy feat.
I don't want to get my hopes up about it coming over though, because Level-5 is notoriously unreliable when it comes to localizations... sigh
Wow, absolutely beautiful! I wish I knew Japanese.. Because I hear this is highly unlikely to be coming out state side. *crosses fingers anyways*
I'd say this is pretty much a lock for US localization. Level 5's US office must be working on something other than White Knight Chronicles 2, and this seems the most likely game. I think there's a small chance the DS version won't get localized, but I'd be shocked if the PS3 version isn't.
Very pretty but my brain can't reconcile seeing Ghibli style animation running that fluidly.
So long & thanks for all the fish!
"I wish I could tell you that technology's available to completely protect any company against cyber attack, but unfortunately, the threat of cyber crime and data theft will continue to plague networks, companies, government agencies and consumers around the world for some time to come."

(2:37) Naze tsukuro to omottan desu ka? (why are you developing this?)
...sekaikan to monosugoku ookii (the word is enormous)

It is a new work. Nothing like it has been made before! - heh, typical developer.
I refuse to see any more images or trailers of these games until it gets announced here. It's way too depressing. ;_;
