Is there some significance to Fate/Extra's release date of 11/1/11? Even if there is, fans are probably more interested in the goodies included in this bundle.

"The word 'equals' rarely applies when one person's rear in on the other's head."
- Nah, Fire Emblem: Awakening
This game looks like a Persona 3 or 4 clone to me. Can anyone who has played both Persona 3/4 and Fate/Extra comment on whether they are similar or not. Is the story in Fate/Extra stressed upon or is it more gameplay?
I can't find much about this game... what is it about?
If memory serves, the series roots are as visual novels. I think at least one was of the "adult" variety. This game is adapted from the universe, and merges the visual novel elements and the universe with RPG combat sequences. How well it all comes together, I couldn't say.
Yeah, I thought this was a Japorno game that would never be considered for release elsewhere. Can someone who's played it help with our ignorance?
The lesson here is that dreams inevitably lead to hideous implosions.
Fate/stay Night started as a PC-only eroge, but due to it's success in that market, went through what tropes calls "Bleached Underpants" and was released as a non-adult anime in 2006, and a PS2 port of the VN in 2007. It is apparantly one of the most successful visual novels ever released.
befriend (v.): to use mecha-class beam weaponry to inflict grievous bodily harm on a target in the process of proving the validity of your belief system.
And this game is a spin-off of that. A prequel, to be exact. Because it is a prequel, it has many of the same characters from the original as well as many new characters. I am sure like Fate/Stay Night, this game is primarily a visual novel but other elements seem to have been added in.
The porno one was Fate/Stay Night (2004). None of the other versions were.
"In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move."

Too bad they're not doing a figma pack-in like they did in Japan. Not that I was hoping for it or anything.
