WoW killed the subscription MMO. Companies need to stop wasting their time with a model that doesn't work and re-educate players on why F2P isn't just for Korea any more.

City of Heroes is in the process of going F2P, I was planning to put a story up about it, but it's still in "VIP Only" mode for a little while, so it's only open to people who subscribe or were subscribed before the update was pushed out.
