    Fallout: New Vegas DLC Roundup

The final Fallout: New Vegas DLC is out, so the RPGamer staff has gotten together to bring you a breakdown of the four major packs so that you don't have to walk this road alone.

Yeah this is really helpful. Stuff like this would be nice for other games too, now that DLCs are popping up everywhere.

Yeah, this was great. I've seen Lonesome Road described as a boring and poor attempt at turning NV into a shooter, and considering how bad Operation Anchorage was, I was planning to skip it. It sounds a lot better as a challenging final dungeon that completes the story and I have a lot of explosives left unused (unless you count blowing my companions into the sky as "using" them, heh). Doesn't sound like Dead Mony or Honest Hearts really adds anything to the game. I'll be looking at grabbing the other two.

Yeah, I'm liking the DLC round-up. I'd like to see more of these.

Now the question becomes when do the Gold Editions come out?

That's a good question. Should have been scheduled already, I would imagine.

Lonesome Road is still on the newer side, so I wouldn't expect word on the gold edition until some time next year like during a stretch where this isn't any heavy competition from other RPGs. We're in quite a strong stretch for the genre.

I just estimated based on Fallout 3's complete pack coming out two months after that game's final DLC.

If people like these DLC round-ups, we can always look into doing more of them. I've been saving DA2's Legecy for when I start up a new game, and I may as well pick up the other ones to do it all in one shot, Not promising anything, but we'll see how these go!

I'll gladly do more, but there's got to be good DLC first.

Good summaries. I think Old World Blues was my favorite as well. None of them were "horrible" mind you, I enjoyed them all. Lonesome Road can have an impact on the various factions of the game, something to consider when deciding when to play it (most of the DLC is self-contained and won't impact anything outside of the DLC itself).
