Is soccer (or football or what have you) more popular in Europe than in the United States?

Very very much so. Soccer is the American Football of most of the rest of the globe.

My review of the first one

Very simple version - gameplay is fun, but a bit too easy

Also, Sega Football Manager 2012 sold gang-busters in Europe this year. You think we're nutty about Madden here, you have no idea.

Yeah that series is massive (and awesome ^^), FIFA and Pro Evo are also guaranteed massive sales every year. Football generally dominates the sporting news.

Vinnie Jones playing a Man Utd fan always amuses me :P

I am rooting for England SO HARD in the Euro next summer - because the more games they play, the more days off I get from work. /innocent whistle

I might have to import the original Inazuma, but I tend to avoid importing games over 10 quid. I = teh suck.
