I just remembered that Resonance of Fate(PS3) had a wacky X-mas event where your party was dressed as Santa & reindeers. The object was to pelt the kiddies with gifts while trying not to be mobbed by them. Good fun.

Santa was in the first three Star Ocean games, at least, though he never actually looked like Santa. 8-)

Was thinking more of examples of odd word choice rather than blatantly bad ability with the basic concepts of articles or plurals, but....
Turn's out "spoony" can mean "foolishly or sentimentally amorous" and "Error" is his actual name. Now Error's lookalike, Bagu, his name was supposed to be "Bug", as in computer error and bug.
I had forgotten the origin of my avatar but I just love animals with weapons.
