Huh, when they did that graphical update of the original Ash, I assumed Ash II would have a similar style. Game 2 looks more retro than Game 1!
The art style change is a bit odd, but I'm enjoying the original (slowly, as my new 4S makes me want to play all the shiny games), so I'm sure I'll get this once it launches.

If you're telling me to buy Ash I, then I guess I'll have to oblige.
Whoa, that was quick! Announcement and launch so close together. Well, I'm a man of my word, so *purchases*
In my 45 min with each game so far, I'm finding Ash II a step in the wrong direction for the iPhone, clearly using a font and display style catering to the iPad instead. Other than that, it seems pretty fun, though I wish I knew the whole story of Ash so the prologue of Ash II made sense to me.

Well, the prologue of Ash I was also hard to understand so I guess that's common for the series. =p
Not really, it was actually fairly easy to understand.

Not for me. Just a bunch of sprites walking around with no dialogue and then suddenly the story jumps to something completely unrelated made me be like ???.
Well, for me easy to understand (esp since I played the last game) BUT! it's having some major crash issues which ruin my enjoyment of the game.
Hopefully they'll fix it..
