- Nah, Fire Emblem: Awakening
I'm not all that interested in paying for the extra costumes (and I assume there will inevitably be a costume bundle eventually), but the Sazh episode sounds interesting. It had better have a decent amount of content.
That's cool, looking forward to playing as Sazh. Should be fun.
Kain: "Conscience...? You dare speak to me of conscience? Only when you have felt the full gravity of choice should you dare to question my judgment!"
Sazh being my favorite character from FF13, I'm way excited for this!
I got a fever, and the only prescription is more Sazh!
Ask Wheels- This Week's Episode
Being a surprise fan of XIII-2, I have to say, work cannot end soon enough...I need to get home and download this ASAP. 400 points is pretty damn reasonable, too.
This DLC is retarded. Stay away from it.
There is like no story and all you do is play two games in the casino. Over and over again. Sigh.
Why did I have a signature? I never set one before! Ooops...
I love it...but then again, this is coming from the guy who spent all of his time in Red Dead Redemption playing Texas Hold-em, so take that with a grain of salt.
Besides, Sazh is a kick-@$$ Synergist; I've already maxed him out.
Silly DLC like this really makes me want to wait a lot longer for FF13-2. I got all previous FF's on the day of release. Now...given the fact they go down in price so fast (FF13-2 is already 16-25% off) and the glut of DLC stuff...I feel I should wait for a GotY edition, or until the game is down to $20 (FF13 got there in a few months), and then just buy the good DLC making it around a $40 purchase...instead of buying it new w/good DLC making it around an $80 deal.
And, that way, I can read all the reviews on the DLC. Because, I'm sorry, this really doesn't look like a good deal or a fun add-on from what I've read on it.
Check out RPG Backtrack, my comics and my blog! If you like Pathfinder, I play Carrion Crown, Jade Regent and The Darkest Day. Follow me on Twitter or Facebook.
My thoughts on this DLC:
I have finished it in less than an hour and a half.
It features two new card games in the casino, one of them very similar to Texas Hold-em with some slight variation on betting rules (and all-in rules)
The story itself is a great addition, I like Sazh as a character, and it has a fun little story behind it (it even shows the origin of Chocolina).
The episode itself is useful for people who need the casino coins. (Easy way to earn in poker)
I enjoyed it overall, but I can’t help feel that they could have just included this as part of the disk because it’s pretty much just scenes in the casino, plus new mini games. Not really much in terms of software development there.
