We weren't sure whether this game would come out here, but it turns out it's arriving sooner than we would have expected. What is it? Read on to find out.

I MUST HAVE THIS. Baconator's power must live on!
Mmmm...baconator.
War and strife shall be so in use,
and dreadful dragons so familiar,
that commanders smile when they behold
their Snivy quarter'd with the hand of war.
All pity choked with custom of fell deeds:
and Nobunaga, ranging for revenge.
Cry havoc! and let slip the Zekrom of war.
This has so made my day.
This actually looks like fun. I don't play Pokemon or Nobunaga's Ambition, but I think I will play this game.
This is indeed awesome news! It seemed like a good possiblity for localization, but I'm still glad this is coming over. It combines two of my obsession: Pokemon and tactical/strategy RPGs.![]()

The graphics look quite nice for a DS game, too. I can't resist Pokemon as a general rule, and this just looks like tons of fun.

To update things a bit, here's a post-game impression.
So after Nobunaga's defeated for good, all commander and pokemon data are saved. For the record, I had 89/200 commanders and 111/199 pokemon collected (139 seen). When I restarted the game, I was presented with a list of episodes to explore that were basically bonus campaigns with different historical characters as the main and a more limited theater to deal with. I only had nine episodes available (one gotten from DLC before I'd even beaten the main game), but there were spaces for FORTY.
I chose an episode with the lowest difficulty rating. In it, I took the role of Mitsunari. He appears to have had a falling out with his best buds Masanori and Kiyomasa. The three of them have parted ways, and each is now in control of a castle from the early part of the game. Oichi is the neutral party in the middle of it all.
While playing, so far I have seen weather patterns, invested in nearby farms, and been given the ability to boost locations within my demesne by pouring extra cash into them. None of these options were available in the main campaign. I'm kind of curious to see what the rest are like now.
I haven't heard of Nobunaga's Revenge until it's been mentioned in combination with Pokemon :P
Anyway, I am definitely going to get this. I love the Pokemon series and tactical RPGs![]()

I wouldn't mind if this got a European release. I don't own a single Pokemon game, but this would be bought day 1.
This looked weird to me on day one but I'll probably end up picking it up to play. The trouble is the only tactical game I really played was FFTA
FFXI Character name: Shadowneko Server: Quetzalcoatl Main Jobs: lvl 76 THF, lvl 95 Summoner, lvl 39 Dragoon

I really don't know how to feel about this. It is not your typical Pokemon spin off game.
I like that it is combining all of the generations of Pokemon and not just limiting it to say Gen.5.
However I have never been a fan of Strategy RPGs. I am just no good at them.
I hope I am able to enjoy this one.
