Nothing in the impression about the music? Wondering about the tunes.

Sadly it was a bit too loud on the show floor to get a good feel for the tunes .

Is a MC still present for the player, or is he/she absent this time?

    That's a drag.

One nitpick: "The story is a continuation of the previous Penny Arcade adventures, completing the story."

Struck me as odd, so I checked the FAQ at http://www.rainslick.com/faq.

There will actually be a 4th episode (installment, whatever) in 2013, so I don't think this is technically "completing" the story.

    Other than that, nice impression!

    Whoops! Fixed. Sorry about that.

I didn't really enjoy the prequels at all (only played the demos and were bored in them already), but I think I might get this one, because of Zeboyd and the art style.

Love the art-style I'll buy it ^^ Hope it won't be a huge problem, that I haven't played the first two games. Only played the demo of the first one and didn't really enjoy it much...

I'm in the same boat (I did NOT like the combat system I experienced in the demo for the first game), and I'm guessing the Zeboyd guys know that they'll have a lot of newcomers to the series here. Of course, either way there will be a lot of Penny Arcade-related in-jokes, since that's kind of the point.

Also, Zeboyd earns my undying affection for replacing random encounters with on-screen enemies. <3

Absolutely. I love their comics, even though I don't follow them regularly anymore. Their jokes are THE reason why I want to play a PA game

You should have no problems jumping in and fighting evil mimes even if you haven't played the other games

Watch out for problems digesting those mimes, Ocelot. Remember, mimes are one of those silent killers.
