GrimHouten: Your PC can probably play this game. It came out in 2006. If your PC is less than 6 years old, you're probably good.

Also I played the jap version long ago, and It worked but realyyy slow, so I had a lots of problems with the boss fights, so in the end I gave up, but I am buying a new one the next month =p
and, for what little I played, is better than felgana, well is pretty much the same, but playing as the wizard is really nice, but I prefered the axewoman, since she was the adol like char.

It's out now but I'll be waiting a week or two to purchase it.
Did not get a chance to play it last night. I suspect Humble Bundle 5 is hurting them quite a bit (Humble Bundle 5 released on the same day Ys Origin did). HB5 is certainly a better deal than Ys Origin if you don't own any of the bundle games already.
I managed to get to play it. Very good game so far, but dear god some of the bosses are infuriating...like that Anthropod. I got my first game over with him, and it took me 12 times to beat him at level 16.

Late response, but YES. Bosses are brutal, normal fights...not that much.

I'm playing on normal.
I fought a giant boss with two giant arms and a giant mouth. What else it had...I couldn't say.
I fought a giant centipede. He could only be hurt by special attacks. Also, I died around 5 times, ground two levels, and then died 3 more times before I won.
I fought a giant robot.
I fought a thing that looked a lot like an anemone.
I fought a giant preying mantis.
I tend to brute force a lot of the boss fights (attacks are hard to dodge).
Sadly Flamethrower, we can't do that in the higher matches. One of them I was dodging all the boss's attacks and throwing Yunica's Phoenix Flame (fully charged) at them just to survive. Earlier bosses are hard to survive by dodging. Later bosses are too easy to survive by dodging. However, the normal enemies REALLY get more powerful by that point.
