Bowser causing trouble in the Mushroom Kingdom again? What else is new? Oh, what's this about stickers? It seems they're quite prominent in this 3DS game.

I can't wait. I was not pleased with Super Paper Mario, and this one looks like it's going back to being like classic Paper Mario.

This game is what made me want a 3DS in the first place. It's the first 'gotta have' game for me. I can't wait!
Check out my fledgling youtube channel. It's small now, but if I get more subscribers I will start doing more with it, so stay tuned!

The 3DS has been slow for me since I bought it around Christmas. Resident Evil Revelations was the only 3DS game I bought this year.
Paper Mario and Luigi's Mansion will make it better. Too bad there is no word of Fire Emblem coming though.
^Hopefully we'll hear something on it during tonight's Nintendo conference on the 3DS.

The good news for people who don't like stylus aiming is that the controls are completely customizable. You can set it to aim with the circle pad instead. I use the default control scheme, but I know people who are more used to console shooters have set the controls to a variety of alternative options. Anyway, I should shut up because this is very much not on-topic.![]()

Thinks I Dont like at first glance
1) Bowser again
2) No partners
3) No real leveling up ( seams casualized)
The Paper Mario games have always been "casualized." It's not like you ever made any choices at level-up, so why not just get the relevant stats as upgrades for performing tasks rather than fighting monsters? The game seems to have an exploration/questing over combat emphasis, so I think the system as it is makes sense.
A couple things we learned from last night's 3DS conference:
1. Stickers are indeed one-use only in battle. You get stickers for winning a battle, however, so it should be relatively difficult to run out. I bet there's going to be some sort of mechanic in place for running out of stickers in battle, too.
2. Puzzles are solved by "stickerifying," i.e. taking stickers in your inventory and using them on the environment. It looks like some of these puzzles will be mandatory, but that you'll also be able to experiment with stickerifying out in the world.

i dunno at first glance it rubbed me wrong
i'm hoping this one takes me back to how i felt playing the original paper mario. i just want a silly romp filled with quirkiness and plays on being 2D. Seeing the toad bridge/ladder in the trailer made me happy.
i could do with fewer mustache jokes
