I was kind of expecting a new engine. Or maybe hoping they would use the RF:Frontier engine? The 3DS is pretty powerful and these are still DS graphics.

Japanese release is the 19th July.

No English release confirmed (usually we don't get that until after the JP release) but it's practically a given.

Tides (PS3) was my first & last RF game.
That's too bad, because it was one of the weakest in the series. You should give Rune Factory 3 on DS or Rune Factory Frontier on Wii a spin.
