Ask Wheels- This Week's Episode
It does look pretty good. If this trailer is indicating that there are no random encounters, I'm all for that. Looks like their are going with something resembling Strange Journey's battle system. To be honest I'd prefer if you could see your own party in battle like Nocturne, but I suppose it'll have to do. SMT4 should be yet another incentive to finally pick up a 3DS for.

I too would prefer a Nocturne - ish style of combat.... I don' think I can go back to the classic style, as Strange Journey unfortunately bored me to tears, which surprised me. I guess after playing the tactical combat system of Devil Survivor, and the ability to see your party in Nocturne and Persona games, I have a hard time coping with the classic Shin Megami battle style.
But then... this trailer is very nice.
Well, there's now a countdown for when I get a 3DS. Maybe I'll have made it through the portable versions of Persona by then (doubt it, my backlog is waaaaay too big).
I'm very much looking forward to this. I enjoyed Strange Journey and it'll be interesting to play a numbered game in the series.

- Nah, Fire Emblem: Awakening
Gonna be "that guy" and say that SMT without Kaneko is not SMT.
That one new demon they show... good lord.
EDIT: ATLUS WHY
