Huh, the title makes perfect sense to me, and I would be willing to pay through these games in HD.
I'm horrified by the thought of more 358/2 days, glad that it seems like that isn't actually part of the collection. I'd be glad to play this, but would be more excited for a 2.5 collection with Birth by Sleep HD and Kingdom Hearts 2 HD!

Sounds cool. I never actually completed KH1, so I might give it another whirl in HD depending on price and timing and all that fun stuff. For some reason, I really like playing the PS3 over the PS2 even though I have both systems hooked up...

Because we really needed more Kingdom Hearts. Nomura can't count to three, so instead he stretches out the original. After this HD 'remake', there will be another game that takes place between the first game and itself...what was Kairi doing while Sora and Riku raced for the paopu fruit? Nomura feels that this story should be told! He can't make KH3, nor can he finish a Final Fantasy game (while Toriyama, Kitase, and Tabata have made three and a half), but he can keep making ridiculous KH sidequest games.
So sick of the original KH. Sick of those damn fuzzy, graphics. Sick of characters with soft pink felt skin and red cheeks. Sick of 1,00000 straps and belt buckles. Sick of emo hair and popsicles, sick of big dumb shoes, sick of melodramatic convoluted stories about 'hearts'. Please end this series now...PLEASE!
From what I heard in rumors, so take this with a grain of salt, that the guys in charge of SE are having Nomura keep making new games for KH, and that he wanted to end the series in a game immediately after KH2. But like I said, I got it from rumors, so don't take it seriously.

True, but I don't think SE will say no to almost guaranteed sales in the west, especially after so many are complaining that there isn't a new one on a console.
