CIMA: The Enemy - Staff Retroview

Once upon a time, someone had the novel idea that making an entire game based around escorting people through dungeons would be worthwhile. Whether this idea was unadulterated brilliance or sub-moronic foolishness seems to be in the eye of the beholder.
Exactly why is CIMA all-caps? No one ever addresses it.
It's not what he's eating, but what's eating him that makes it ... sort of interesting.

The review does this game slightly better justice then it truly deserves. I was stoked to try this cause I thought it would be closer to Lufia which I love. Dear gods I played it ONCE and have not touched it since that day. JuMeSyn, you have my utter respect for beating this cause it really is a terrible game. Although the game world sounded interesting ... if it only coulda been presented better.

I actually had a decent time with this game, until I got to the end of it, where it rather intensely kicked me down a few flight of stairs, repeatedly, until I gave up. Hence never being allowed to review it.

I was beginning to think I was the only one who liked this game. Granted, it fell into my pile of "never finished" games but I enjoyed it while I played it. I'll probably never come back now that it's 2 generations old and I have so many other new shiny games to play.

It's been a while since I played this game. I first bought it because it reminded me of Lufia. I really liked it, actually, and managed to beat it. It's hard at times, but not unbeatable.
