    20 Screens - Tales of Xillia

    Unlike our last batch of English screenshots, this set actually contains a fair amount of... English. See what this motley adventuring group has to say for themselves.

    this game is really pretty. I'll be buying it if trends continue considering I have owned every Tales game since Symphonia.

    For their next trick they should make that English text actually readable.

    You don't like thin white text against a black or busy background?

    After playing Tales of Vesperia and being BLOWN AWAY, this is a must-buy for me as is Tales of Graces F before it. I haven't played many of the previous Tales games but I am stoked to be playing every single one that comes out on PS3. I haven't missed any right? So far it's just Vesperia, Graces F, Xillia, and Xillia 2 right?

    Yep, those four are the ones on PS3. Really looking forward to Xillia, interested to see if it can displace Symphonia as my personal favourite (although Vesperia and Graces f both came very close)

    I will probably pick this up. I'm enjoying Graces much more than I thought I would.
    I hope Xillia has a cool growth system like Graces(titles).
    I'm excited to see a Tales that was made for the PS3, for a change.

    Xillia's level up system is pretty different from Graces. It has a grid based system where you learn abilties by filling the nodes around them (The nodes themselves give stat boosts). See this screenshot.

    Tales games tend to give me my 'wow, actual character development' fix, although the battle systems don't do much for me. Hoping for a firmer ToX release date soon.

    @Quin
    Thanks for the pic link.
    I'm not thrilled about the grid system.
    I like the freedom of Graces' title system.
