Never played any of these. Are they turn based games?
They are, though battles have a timing element to them. By pressing buttons at the right time, the Mario Bros' attack power will increase or have some added effect. Also, enemy attacks can be reduced or avoided entirely. Special moves usually require extra button work or touch screen actions as well.
I love the Mario & Luigi series, especially Bowser's Inside Story. I hope this will be as fun and have the same amount of humor as the previous game. I will miss the cartoony 2D sprites, though it looks like it's still just as colorful.

IMHO at least this game will be way better then Sticker Star since it that game you have a limited amount of stickers and stickers are used at attack items.
At least in this one you won't have to worry about that But the previous Mario and Luigi games barely took me 10 hours each to finish.
Bowser's Inside Story was incredibly fun. I'll be watching this one closely.

Same as you guys, I'm a fan of the Mario and Luigi RPGs. The style and quality of past games looks to be intact from that tiny bit of footage, and a Dreamworld offers a wide variety of potential settings.
Looking forward to playing it, and yet another reason to be a happy 3DS owner.
