great news, though disappointed 358/2 is just cutscenes. Just hope they price it appropriately. Knowing how overpriced alot of other Square ports are, i wouldn't be surprised if they tried to charge full $60 for it. :/

Dear RPG makers: From this point forward I will be paying for all HD remakes with HD copies of the same $20 bills I used to buy the original games. Although they have no monetary value, Andrew Jackson’s head is bigger and clearer than it was 10 years ago..
Oh you act like SE isn't going to release these games AGAIN. Given the boner so many fans have for the KH games, I imagine these games will be released with some regularity from here on out.

Meh, I still have the originals of all those.
Oddly enough, while (standard def) DVDs played on my PS3 look great on my HDTV, my PS2 games look pretty crappy. I wonder if there's a way to remedy that.

Move your chair back?Seriously, I've never had this problem with my PS2 games, and I think I played them more on my HDTV than I did on my old TV.
But I posted to talk and 1.5. I think it's a cool idea, and I am a big fan of HD game bundles from the PS2 era. I think there is a lot of value in these types of collections. On top of that, usually quality titles are being re-released. I've already bought the Devil May Cry collection, and I am looking at God Of War, Hitman, and possibly the Splinter Cell games after that.
With Kingdom Hearts, I never actually finished the original. I've always had re Chain of Memories on my radar but never got around to it. So I am definitely a buyer here. If I had played/finished these games I might not be as apt to chomp on this collection.
I'd like to see a $40 price point, I think that is fair.

If you're playing on your PS2 and you have a cheap TV, you could get a bad picture. If you're playing on your PS3, you shouldn't be getting a bad picture.
I'm giving my Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 on credit. I'm getting these and I'm sure that we will get the 2.5
Never buy a game published by D3 Publisher that is not WKCII. They cheated on their fans by releasing a game that they didn't support not even for a year and they released a rushed translation.
I am so pumped! I skipped the Kingdom series until now, and have been considering getting into them. Glad my patience won out. Finally a good reason to go back and check KH out

I'm interested in the redoing of the battle system to more resemble that from KHII. I always thought the second game had a far better combat system.
With any luck, we'll see a 2.5 and a domestic release for KHII: Final Mix+.

I hope Birth by Sleep gets included in 2.5

It probably will. To be honest I felt Birth by Sleep was the second best game in the series, with the first Kingdom Hearts being the best.
