PAX East Impression - Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is back, and Square Enix is calling this version its best yet. The Director's Cut certainly is impressive, but some aspects of this Wii U release are rough around the edges.

Glad to hear they're revamping the boss fights for it. Did you happen to ask if they plan to release a patch or free DLC that would do that for the other versions of the game?

I did. There are currently no plans.

I also asked if they would be porting the full Director's Cut to the other consoles and was told that it wouldn't make sense considering that most of the new features were Wii U Gamepad oriented.

Aww man that sucks. Well if it does well enough, I would hope that they'd agree to add the changes to the other versions, as it would make the boss fights far more interesting. I know for a fact that's why I loved the boss fight of The Missing Link DLC, since I could stealth my way to the boss and take him out.
