    Be a Blackguard in January

What happens when the bad guys are the ones who have to save the world? We don't see this topic explored terribly often in RPGs, so Blackguard looks rather intriguing.

Excellent, bring it on! I am really looking forward to a new tactical-combat based game. I can't remember if this is turn based, but here are my fingers crossed that it is.

I'm eager to see how it plays out. Especially since I'm severely lacking in "bad guys saving the world" due to no VC3.

All I know is that the developers have made good adventure games, but never an rpg. I've kind of been on a media blackout, but I'll probably end up getting this sometime next year. Can't resist turn based combat rpgs.

It's interesting that they're not advertising the fact that it's based on The Dark Eye. I guess the brand has been diluted to the point where the few people who even recognized it don't care anymore.

They do tend to mention The Dark Eye at least briefly in their press releases, and I believe we've mentioned it in a previous news story. Most Americans have no idea what The Dark Eye is, though.

Yeah, pretty sure I've seen a fair bit of Der Schwartzige Eize (I have no idea how to spell that) in the German text surrounding the game.
