Sooo who's actually buying this? I'm thinking it has been a long time since I played it so I might dive in again.

To play it now on a big screen could be very cool. When this originally came out years ago I was a poor university art student/ starving artist, so it'll be nice to play it now on my big screen!

It's on Eira's and my slate to pickup, but we're not worried about lack of copies like other games.

I'll be getting it on Vita. Loved playing through VIII and IX again on PSP/Vita, and looking forward to doing it with this one too.

    I'll be grabbing it.

PS3 version is preordered (at a discount, woot) and the Vita version will serve to stress-test the 64GB card I just ordered.

I've had it on pre-order for as long as Game-Stop would take my money. I can't wait for it to come out

You DO know the Vita one is X only, right? That X-2's a separate, digital-only purchase and (knowing SE) likely another $40?

Vita comes with a X-2 download code included.

Really? This is a change from everything I've heard. Still, not quite the same as having it on the card, but at least that's an improvement from SE norm if true.

Well it's listed on the box art and description on my Amazon order.

I'm definitely interested in this, but not sure which system to get it for. A friend's picking it up for PS3, so I'll wait to see how it looks on there first.

Being an FF re-release it will eventually fall to $10 or less at some point and then I'll probably grab a copy. I'm in no rush.

I'm definitely getting it. I need a palette cleanser after three FFXIII games which got progressively worse with each new release.

So do I! And like another poster, I now have a big-screen TV that I'm really looking forward to playing it on. I may even frame those lithographs that come with the limited edition

While it's certainly a major improvement over the originals, I don't think it will look as good on a big screen as some people think it will.

I'm more concerned with how it looks on a 5" OLED, but I'm sure it'll look fine on the 32" 720p TV I've got here.
